Amazon’s Tomb Raider Series Production Halted Due to Sophie Turner’s Injury

Production on Amazon Prime Video’s *Tomb Raider* series has been temporarily halted following an injury sustained by its star, Sophie Turner, who portrays Lara Croft. It remains unclear whether the injury occurred on set, but the production team is reportedly taking all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of its cast and crew.

A statement released by the production confirmed the incident: “Sophie Turner recently suffered a minor injury. As a precaution, production has briefly stopped to allow her time to recover. We look forward to resuming production as soon as possible.”

The hiatus is expected to last approximately two weeks, during which time all crew members will continue to be paid. Given that Amazon’s *Tomb Raider* currently has no official release date or window, this brief internal delay is unlikely to significantly impact the public’s waiting time for the series. We extend our best wishes to Sophie Turner for a swift recovery, as those ancient tombs certainly won’t explore themselves!
