Sonic Racing: Crossworlds has recently expanded its roster with a notable addition: Red, the iconic character from Angry Birds. This follows the earlier integration of Mega Man and Proto Man, along with themed vehicles and tracks.
Red is now available for download and, like other Sega crossovers, can be acquired for free. He comes equipped with the Super Roaster vehicle and features unique emotes, sound effects, and three musical tracks: “Go! Theme,” “Go! Theme (Final Lap),” and “Angry Birds Theme.”
To commemorate Red’s arrival, a new in-game event called the “Angry Birds Festival: Point Up Chance” is underway and will conclude on Monday at 2 AM. The event divides players into three teams – Red, Chuck, and Bomb – where they will compete for victory based on their team’s cumulative score.
Additionally, Goro Majima from the “Like a Dragon: Yakuza” series is set to join Sonic Racing: Crossworlds on April 30th.
