This week marks the first anniversary of Atomfall’s launch. Arriving on screens on March 27, 2025, Rebellion’s dystopian adventure game, with its distinct resemblance to Fallout and flavors of 20th-century British science fiction novels, has presented an undeniably captivating world. Players have collectively spent millions of hours exploring its depths.
In a recent update detailing the game’s inaugural year, Rebellion revealed that players have accumulated over 17 million hours within the quarantine zone. During this intense period, players met their demise a staggering 42.3 million times. BARD robots proved to be the most lethal adversaries, responsible for 14.9% of all player deaths, followed closely by the Irons at 13.6%, and “the Protocol” claiming third place with 9.6%.
While some players might have found personal favorites, such as the cricket bat, the community as a whole achieved greater success with the bow and arrows, the single-shot rifle, and the Webley revolver, which emerged as the three most effective weapons for dealing death to enemies.
Beyond combat and exploration, players discovered nearly 7 million comic books, consumed well over 16 million Cornish pasties, and enjoyed millions of slices of cake. The full list of anniversary statistics would typically be presented in an accompanying image.
