Big Hops Gets Free Conspiracy & Photography-Themed DLC

Developer Luckshot Games has launched a free downloadable content (DLC) pack for its charming platformer, Big Hops. This new content introduces a secondary mini-game centered around conspiracy theories, utilizing photography as its core mechanic.

Dubbed “Cappler’s Conspiracy,” the DLC features a new owl character named Cappler, an eccentric conspiracy theorist. Cappler enlists players’ help with various photographic tasks to prove or disprove his bizarre theories. To aid in these missions, Luckshot has enhanced the game’s photographic elements with 17 new filters, zoom capabilities, and a new “Sky Shifter” gadget that allows players to modify the in-game world. Additionally, six new gameplay-altering trinkets have been added, including one that enables a first-person perspective.

The new photography game offers over two hours of additional gameplay hidden within Big Hops. Cappler will send players on missions to explore peculiar ideas, challenging them to prove or refute the existence of aliens, ghosts, moles, and more. Successful completion of these tasks rewards players with dozens of new camera filters, lenses, and the special Sky Shifter gadget.

To find Cappler and begin these photographic adventures, players should look for Cappler’s distinctive symbol hidden throughout the many worlds of Big Hops.

This update is currently available on PC and PS5, with a Nintendo Switch release expected early next week.
