Historically, Call of Duty League competitions have primarily been held in the United States, with a few international forays. For the 2026 season, only one such international event is planned: the second Major of the year will take place at DreamHack Birmingham, in England, next weekend. This event promises a series of intense matches.
As this major event approaches, qualifications are complete, and the tournament bracket has now been revealed. Out of the twelve CDL teams, only Boston Breach and Cloud9 New York failed to qualify, leaving ten teams to compete for the title.
Here’s a look at the initial matches scheduled:
March 27 – Play-Ins:
- Toronto KOI vs. Vancouver Surge
- Carolina Royal Ravens vs. Paris Gentle Mates
March 27 – Upper Bracket Round 1:
- OpTic Texas vs. Winner of Toronto/Vancouver
- G2 Minnesota vs. Riyadh Falcons
- Los Angeles Thieves vs FaZe Vegas
- Miami Heretics vs. Winner of Carolina/Paris
Aside from the initial play-in matches, the tournament will adopt a double-elimination format. This means a team can lose one match and remain in contention, but a second loss will result in their definitive elimination. Seeding for subsequent rounds will be determined by the results of these initial confrontations.
While the exact match times have not yet been announced by the Call of Duty League, it is confirmed that the tournament will run for three days, from Friday, March 27, to Sunday, March 29, at the heart of DreamHack Birmingham.
