Chevrolet is bringing back one of its most cherished performance badges, infusing it with modern innovation. The new Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport X has been revealed as part of the C8 lineup’s expansion, notably featuring a traditional V8 engine paired for the first time in a Grand Sport model with a hybrid all-wheel-drive system.
Positioned strategically between the base Stingray and the more extreme variants like the Z06, the Grand Sport X aims to deliver an optimal balance of daily usability and exhilarating track performance. Powering the vehicle is a brand-new 6.7-liter LS6 V8, generating an estimated 535 horsepower. However, the flagship ‘X’ model elevates this by integrating a front electric motor with the V8, culminating in a hybrid AWD system with a formidable combined output of approximately 720 horsepower.
Inside, the cabin has received a contemporary update, showcasing a modern digital interface with several driver-oriented screens and a sleekly redesigned center console.
Production is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2026, with sales commencing later that year.
