Capcom has recently enjoyed immense success with its Resident Evil and Monster Hunter series, achieving incredible commercial triumphs. The publisher is also planning to expand into new areas and revive beloved classics later this year, such as Pragmata and Onimusha: Way of the Sword.
The Japanese developer has also found considerable success with various adaptations, notably the Devil May Cry animated series for Netflix, which is soon to receive its second season. Given this, wouldn’t it be fitting for a Devil May Cry video game release to coincide with the upcoming episodes?
For those hoping, good news seems to be on the horizon. A recent listing on a Taiwanese rating board has revealed a new edition of Devil May Cry 5, which appears to be coming to Nintendo’s next-generation console, often referred to as “Switch 2.”
This new edition is known as “Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition.” While Capcom has not yet officially confirmed its existence, such rating classifications typically precede a more formal announcement.
Would you be eager to grab a copy of Devil May Cry 5 on a future Nintendo console?
