Didier Deschamps Unveils France Squad for Upcoming Friendly Matches

France national team coach Didier Deschamps has unveiled his latest squad list ahead of the upcoming World Cup. This selection precedes two crucial friendly matches where France will face Brazil and Colombia on March 26th and 29th, respectively, in the United States.

The 26-player roster features established stars such as Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé, Dayot Upamecano, and Ibrahima Konaté. Among the more surprising inclusions are Tottenham’s Randal Kolo Muani, who benefits from Bradley Barcola’s injury absence, and Olympic silver medalist Maghnes Akliouche.

Another notable addition is Lucas Chevalier, the PSG goalkeeper. Despite recently losing his starting position to Matvei Safonov, Chevalier was chosen over Robin Risser of Lens and Jean Butez of Como.

Below is the full squad selected by Didier Deschamps for the March friendly matches. The final World Cup squad will be announced on May 13th.
