The recent DreamHack Birmingham event, held in England’s vibrant second city, successfully gathered a diverse array of gaming and esports talent in the Midlands for three days of intense competition and community-focused activities. Given its significant success for both Birmingham and the DreamHack organization, a grand return has been scheduled for two years from now.
From April 2nd to 7th, 2027, the NEC will once again play host to this major gaming festival. While the specific tournaments and events to be featured during its comeback are typically announced closer to the festival date, fans who enjoyed the previous iteration can eagerly anticipate another opportunity to immerse themselves in the experience.
This year’s event drew an impressive attendance of over 54,000 visitors during its three-day run. Anna Nordlander, DreamHack’s VP Product and Executive Producer, has enthusiastically stated that the 2027 event is projected to be “even bigger,” promising an enhanced and expanded experience for all attendees.
