ESL Pro Tour to Offer Over $11,450,000 in Prizes for 2027

The ESL FACEIT Group has unveiled ambitious plans to significantly enhance the ESL Pro Tour in 2027. In a detailed blog post, the tournament organizer announced that throughout the upcoming calendar year, a minimum of $11,450,000 will be allocated as prize money, with competitive action further bolstered by the guarantee of eight-team playoffs for all events.

Furthermore, it was explicitly stated that every tournament will culminate with a live audience stage. While IEM Krakow is set to kick off the year’s major events, the Pro Tour is also slated to expand into at least three new global cities by the end of 2027, though the specific locations remain undisclosed.

In parallel, several adjustments have been made to the 2027 calendar. Firm dates have been established for IEM Krakow, and ESL Pro League tournaments will adopt a modified format designed to reduce the event’s carbon footprint. A new 2027 calendar has been released, detailing these changes.
