The second movie premiered in 2023, and a new report indicates that a third installment is officially moving forward. Chris Hemsworth has reportedly agreed to reprise his iconic role as action hero Tyler Rake.
The report further suggests that Idris Elba and Golshifteh Farahani are also expected to return in their respective roles for Extraction 3. Production for this highly anticipated sequel could commence as early as this summer, which hints at a potential release as soon as 2027. Behind the camera, Sam Hargrave will once again take on directing duties, with David Weil set to pen the screenplay.
