Former Nintendo Switch 2 Exclusive Lands on PC and Xbox by Surprise, PlayStation Excluded

Bravely Default: Flying Fairy HD Remaster, a title initially launched as an exclusive for the new Nintendo Switch 2, has unexpectedly appeared on additional platforms without prior announcement. Square Enix made a surprise release, bringing this highly anticipated game to PC and Xbox Series X/S.

This expansion comes almost a year after its debut as a Nintendo console exclusive. The sudden availability has caught many players off guard, notably leaving PlayStation without this title. The unannounced multi-platform launch demonstrates Square Enix’s new strategy regarding platform exclusivity for some of its titles, broadening the game’s reach significantly.
