Grand Theft Auto VI: PC Release Potentially Early Next Year
After what feels like an eternity, we will finally get Rockstar’s next sprawling criminal adventure this Christmas. At least, if you are an Xbox or PlayStation player. Indeed, as with previous Grand Theft Auto games, PC players will be left behind, at least for a while, as there has been virtually no mention of a PC port.
But according to new rumors emerging from former Rockstar veterans and reported by X user DetectiveSeeds, a port is indeed in the works and could even be released as early as February of next year, if all goes according to plan. This means the wait will be a little shorter this time around than for previous Grand Theft Auto games.
Furthermore, according to the same leaks, the game will not launch with an online component. This will be added at the end of December, about a month after the game’s release.
Rockstar itself is, as usual, very discreet, and therefore this is only speculation based on people who have already worked there. So we should take this information with a grain of salt, even if most of it seems perfectly plausible.
