It has been approximately 15 years since “The Adventures of Tintin” graced screens, delivering an outstanding animated adventure that captivated many. Despite its acclaimed success, there has been limited progress regarding the expansion of this cinematic universe or the continuation of its story, even as some of the key creators involved express keen enthusiasm for such a project.
In the past, Andy Serkis, who brought Captain Haddock to life in the film, has openly shared his hope for a follow-up movie to eventually materialize. He recently reiterated this sentiment. When questioned about his willingness to return to the world of Tintin, Serkis responded:
“Oh gosh, I wish! I really hope so. I adore that Tintin movie. I loved the process of making that film with such brilliant filmmakers. I think Peter really, really wants to do it, so I hope it will be for later.”
This statement primarily offers a glimmer of hope, as there are currently no indications of production movement on another Tintin film in the foreseeable future. For now, fans can only hold onto this aspiration.
