Jackass’s Final Film Gets Its Official Title

It has been known for some time that a new Jackass movie was slated for a summer release. This installment is being touted as the final film from the Jackass crew, effectively serving as a farewell to the phenomenon that exploded in popularity at the turn of the millennium. Even 26 years later, the franchise remains sufficiently popular to warrant a big-screen send-off.

Lead star Johnny Knoxville has previously stated his intention to step away from the head-banging stunts for his role, citing exhaustion. Additionally, Dave England and Preston Lacy are both nearing their 60s rather than their 50s. The hope is that this does not signify the end of their antics altogether, and that audiences will be treated to the characteristically respectful yet utterly disrespectful send-off that Jackass so richly deserves after nearly three decades of entertaining us with their various injuries and tomfoolery.

Regardless, the film has now been given its definitive title. The official Jackass account announced via Threads that the movie will be called Jackass: Best and Last. It is scheduled to hit theaters on June 26th, and we will undoubtedly be settling into our seats in the dark for one last ride with this crew.
