Luke Littler’s Stunning Comeback: From 5-0 Down to 6-5 Victory in Dublin Darts

Luke Littler delivered one of the most spectacular comebacks ever witnessed in darts during the Premier League Darts event in Dublin. The 17-year-old phenomenon surged from a 5-0 deficit to clinch a sensational 6-5 win over Welshman Gerwyn Price, who had triumphed in Dublin the previous year. This remarkable turnaround secured Littler the title for the seventh night of the Premier League Darts season.

In the semi-finals, Littler had earlier overcome Michael van Gerwen with a close 6-5 scoreline, while Price dominated Luke Humphries 6-1 in the other semi-final encounter.

The 2024 Premier League Darts season, which began in February and is set to conclude on May 21st, saw a significant shake-up in the rankings. Jonny Clayton currently leads the pack with 19 points, followed by Luke Littler with 16 points. Gerwyn Price sits in third with 12 points, and Luke Humphries climbed to fourth place with 11 points, moving ahead of Gian van Veen.

The top four players from the eight competitors will advance to the season’s highly anticipated play-offs. It’s worth noting Littler’s previous incredible feat: he famously won the 2024 Premier League Darts title at the tender age of 17, shocking the darts world with his extraordinary and seemingly unmatched talent.
