Rebecca Ferguson made her debut in the Peaky Blinders universe through the recent film, “Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.” She portrayed Kaulo, a Romani traveler who was depicted as the twin sister of Zelda, mother to Tommy Shelby’s son, Duke (played by Barry Keoghan).
Given Ferguson’s prominent status in modern cinema and television, speculation naturally arises about whether the acclaimed actress might reprise her role as Kaulo in future Peaky Blinders installments. While Ferguson hasn’t outright dismissed the possibility of a return, she also doesn’t appear overly eager to rush back into the dramatic series’ universe.
In a recent interview, Ferguson commented: “I never say no. I believe Kaulo was integral to that film, but I don’t always feel a character requires a continuation; sometimes, you can be content with just that one appearance.”
So, a potential return remains on the table. However, enthusiasm for further Peaky Blinders narratives directly building upon “The Immortal Man” might be tempered, as the film generally didn’t match the high critical acclaim and quality of the original series.
