Assembling your own computer is a rewarding project, offering a wealth of customization possibilities. Recently, a Reddit user showcased an impressive feat: building a fully functional gaming PC encased within a meticulously crafted Lego chassis. As reported by Tech Radar, the user known as ‘OkDebate6649’ documented their ambitious endeavor to construct a playable gaming desktop entirely from Lego bricks.
At the heart of this unique build is an AMD BC-250 motherboard. This component is essentially a scaled-down version of the PlayStation 5’s APU, featuring a six-core Zen 2 CPU and a 24-unit RDNA2 GPU, complemented by 16GB of memory. In terms of performance, it’s comparable to an Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti, capable of running games at 1080p with medium to high settings. The entire Lego enclosure was designed to evoke the aesthetic of early Apple Macintosh computers from the 1980s and 1990s.
It’s important to note that for this particular motherboard, as demonstrated by ‘OkDebate6649’, the system must be operated on Linux. This is due to the motherboard’s incompatibility with Windows 11.
