Lionsgate is gearing up to release Beast (not to be confused with the film where Idris Elba battles a lion), an intense new drama centered on a retired MMA fighter forced back into the cage to protect his younger brother.
Set to premiere in cinemas on April 10th, the movie stars Daniel MacPherson in the lead role, supported by Luke Hemsworth and the consistently brilliant Russell Crowe. Directed by Tyler Atkins, the official synopsis for this gritty film has also been unveiled:
‘After years away from the cage, a once-feared MMA champion is drawn back for the fight of his life when his younger brother is put in danger.
