Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio Unveils New Look at Stranger Than Heaven, Announces Dedicated Broadcast in May

Ahead of the Xbox Partner Preview, it was confirmed that Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio would participate to showcase a new trailer for their upcoming action-RPG, Stranger Than Heaven. With the event now concluded, this new footage has been released.

The trailer confirms the game’s ambitious scope, spanning multiple cities and distinct historical periods: 1915, 1929, 1943, 1951, and 1965.

While precise plot details remain scarce, RGG Studio representative and executive producer Masayoshi Yokoyama provided additional insights in a dedicated blog post. He stated: “We can’t say much more [about it] than what was shown today. But as you can imagine, 5 cities and 5 eras make for a massive undertaking. We are putting an enormous amount of care into bringing these eras and locations to life, which we believe are rarely explored in games. It’s truly a unique experience you won’t find anywhere else.”

For those eager to learn more about Stranger Than Heaven, RGG Studio has confirmed a dedicated broadcast set for May 7th. This Xbox-hosted event, titled “Xbox Presents: A Special Look at Stranger Than Heaven,” is scheduled for 00:00 BST / 1:00 CET on May 7th, providing an opportune viewing time for European fans.

The game’s release date was not specified, with only a “soon” mentioned regarding its launch.
