Samson Tackles Bugs and Performance Issues, Offers Players a Roadmap for Fixes

Developed by former Just Cause developers at Liquid Swords,
Samson was intended to offer a glimpse into open-world crime before
Rockstar’s satirical take on America in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Unfortunately, at launch, the game appeared to be riddled with bugs,
with the developers even admitting it was released with flaws.

However, Liquid Swords is committed to improving Samson.
The first patch was released last week, and a roadmap has now been provided,
indicating when players can expect significant improvements.

According to a recent Steam post, Samson will receive another update this week, slated for April 15th.
This update will focus on stability, gameplay, polish, and incorporating more player feedback.
The third update, scheduled for the following week on April 22nd, does not yet have major details,
but these are likely to be revealed around the launch of the second patch.

Currently, Samson holds a mixed rating on Steam, with nearly 2,000 reviews at the time of writing.
While our initial review was not overwhelmingly positive, it’s possible
the game can be salvaged if Liquid Swords dedicates sufficient time to refining Samson.
