Sonic Frontiers: Definitive Edition Age-Rated in Korea

Fans eagerly await news of a new Sonic game, especially as the hedgehog celebrates his 35th anniversary and it’s been four years since the last major release, Sonic Frontiers. While the wait continues, a recent development suggests something new might be on the horizon.

The Korean equivalent of PEGI has recently age-rated a game titled ‘Sonic Frontiers: Definitive Edition.’ Although details are currently scarce, this rating strongly points towards an updated version of Frontiers, likely encompassing all previously released DLC and potentially even new content.

While not an official confirmation, such age ratings are often reliable indicators of upcoming releases. For instance, a similar leak occurred for Sonic Origins Plus, another updated edition, lending credibility to this new rating.

The timing of an official announcement remains unknown, but an Xbox third-party event is scheduled for tomorrow. Sega has confirmed its participation, leading to speculation that ‘Sonic Frontiers: Definitive Edition’ could potentially be revealed there. We will provide further details as soon as they become available.
