We’ve been buzzing about Sonic Racing: Crossworlds quite a bit lately, especially with the wave of new content. Sonic Team and Sega initially revealed three fresh faces joining the race in April and May: Red from Angry Birds, Goro Majima from Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, and Arle from Puyo Puyo.
Shortly after this announcement, the developers thrilled fans by confirming that the highly anticipated guest character, Mega Man, would also be hitting the tracks on March 25th. These additions bring the total count of new characters to 17 since the game’s launch on September 25th. Given this significant roster expansion, Sega has now released an updated key visual for the game, proudly featuring every single new driver.
This vibrant, high-resolution artwork is perfect for fans looking to use it as a striking wallpaper. And the excitement doesn’t stop there! It’s anticipated that the visual might even get another update before the year’s end. According to the official website, players can look forward to at least three more Sega characters, alongside an impressive six additional third-party guest characters, making their way to Sonic Racing: Crossworlds.
Beyond just new racers, these additions enrich the game significantly. Almost every new character comes with their own unique vehicle. Furthermore, classic Sega music tracks have been added, including the iconic ‘Magical Sound Shower’ from Outrun. The third-party guest characters also bring entirely new tracks to race on, ensuring a constantly evolving and exciting experience for all players.
