Tatiana Maslany Tackles Crime in Apple TV’s Upcoming Drama ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’

Apple TV’s growing catalog is set to expand further this May with the arrival of a new drama series. This intriguing show centers on a recently divorced woman who, in the midst of a personal downward spiral, becomes convinced she has witnessed a crime and decides to take matters into her own hands to solve it.

Titled “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed,” the series features Tatiana Maslany, renowned for her role in “She-Hulk,” as Paula. Paula navigates a challenging period in her life, contending with a recent divorce, an ongoing custody battle, and a significant identity crisis. She seeks solace and a way to cope through online interactions with cam-boys, an unexpected path that ironically plunges her into even deeper complexities and problems.

The official synopsis offers more detail: “‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ follows Paula (Tatiana Maslany), a newly divorced mother, as she tumbles into a dangerous world involving blackmail, murder, and youth football. Convinced she has observed a crime – all while simultaneously battling for child custody and experiencing a profound identity crisis – Paula launches her own investigation. This personal quest may not only uncover a broader conspiracy but also hold the key to reconstructing her family life and sense of self.”

The series is scheduled to premiere on May 20.
