Apple TV’s growing catalog is set to expand further this May with the arrival of a new drama series. This intriguing show centers on a recently divorced woman who, in the midst of a personal downward spiral, becomes convinced she has witnessed a crime and decides to take matters into her own hands to solve it.
Titled “Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed,” the series features Tatiana Maslany, renowned for her role in “She-Hulk,” as Paula. Paula navigates a challenging period in her life, contending with a recent divorce, an ongoing custody battle, and a significant identity crisis. She seeks solace and a way to cope through online interactions with cam-boys, an unexpected path that ironically plunges her into even deeper complexities and problems.
The official synopsis offers more detail: “‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ follows Paula (Tatiana Maslany), a newly divorced mother, as she tumbles into a dangerous world involving blackmail, murder, and youth football.
