While the Call of Duty League prepares for its second Major tournament of the season at DreamHack Birmingham in the UK, another significant European CoD event recently concluded. The European Warzone Series wrapped up its latest stage with the highly anticipated Trials of Avalon.
Bringing together 48 of the globe’s elite teams, the event delivered three days of intense competition. Many are eager to know who ultimately emerged victorious from this challenging contest.
Following a grueling series of matches, the French squad Enkeo claimed the tournament title, securing the winner’s prize of $15,000. Despite being a European event, the American team Huskers earned a respectable second place, just ahead of Germany’s Team Dekii, who finished third.
In addition to the main team competition, the Solo Yolo event, a free-for-all showdown, saw American player ‘Shifty’ crowned as its individual champion.
The future of the European Warzone Series remains uncertain. Typically, only one such event is held per calendar year, suggesting fans might have to wait until 2026 for the next major tournament.
