Wuthering Waves rapidly garnered immense popularity following its initial release on PC and mobile devices two years ago. This success set the stage for the Chinese gacha RPG’s upcoming PlayStation 5 launch in 2025, and earlier this month, speculation began to emerge suggesting its potential arrival on Xbox as well.
These rumors were officially confirmed during Thursday’s Xbox Partner Preview event. Enhancing the announcement, Game Pass subscribers can look forward to additional, though currently unspecified, perks. It is widely assumed these benefits will include cosmetic items or other in-game bonuses.
While an exact launch date remains to be revealed, it has been confirmed that Wuthering Waves will make its debut on Xbox in July 2026. A trailer showcasing the game for Xbox was also presented during the event.
