Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has declared that Ukraine possesses “irrefutable” evidence indicating Russia is providing intelligence support to Iran. He cautioned that this collaboration intensifies and extends the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
According to Zelensky, Russia’s assistance includes signals and electronic intelligence, along with data shared as part of regional partnerships. He characterized these activities as “destructive” and called for their immediate cessation, arguing that they contribute to greater instability.
The Ukrainian leader also highlighted the mounting economic consequences, observing that global markets are already reacting negatively, particularly in the energy sectors affected by the conflict.
Kyiv maintains that by aiding Iran in enhancing its targeting capabilities, Moscow effectively prolongs the conflict and amplifies its global impact.
The Kremlin has recently rejected similar accusations, dismissing reports of intelligence sharing and military cooperation as false.
