Absolut Batman Costume Confirmed Playable in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

As you likely anticipated and are probably already aware, the upcoming Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight will feature an extensive array of Batman costumes. Among those already confirmed are the iconic costume from Adam West’s Batman TV series, the classic The Batman (from Tim Burton’s films), the popular The Dark Knight suit, the visually striking Batman Ninja costume, and a highly anticipated addition for many players: the Batman: Arkham outfit.

Now, another costume has been officially confirmed in a new trailer. This one is notably more recent and perhaps less familiar than the others: the Absolut Batman costume. This costume originates from a comic book series created by Scott Snyder, which rapidly gained immense popularity after its debut in 2024. In this comic’s universe, Gotham City’s dynamics are drastically altered, and Batman himself is depicted as a massive, robust character who isn’t necessarily wealthy (unlike the billionaire Joker of this particular universe).

A video now showcases the Absolut Batman costume in action, with Scott Snyder himself observing his Lego creation in its full glory as it battles alongside Absolut Catwoman. We highly recommend watching the video and, if you haven’t already read the comic, acquiring a copy immediately – you deserve it. You’ll thank us later.

Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is scheduled to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X on May 22nd, with a subsequent release planned for the Switch 2 at a later date.
