Тайваньское подразделение, эквивалентное PEGI, присвоило Starfield возрастной рейтинг для Nintendo Switch 2. Это не является официальным подтверждением, но практически всегда означает, что игра действительно готовится к выходу.
Учитывая, что Bethesda выпустила обновление для Xbox Series S спустя год после выхода Starfield, позволившее RPG работать на частоте 60 кадров в секунду, вполне вероятно, что версия для Switch 2, чья производительность часто сравнивается с бюджетными моделями Xbox, также может быть оптимизирована.
Остается лишь надеяться на скорое подтверждение. Возможно, Microsoft решит дождаться Summer Game Fest или Xbox Games Showcase, которые пройдут в начале июня, чтобы сделать официальный анонс.
Starfield’s Switch 2 Release Rumors Gain Momentum
Last week, PlayStation 5 owners finally had the chance to embark on an interstellar journey with Bethesda’s role-playing game, Starfield. Originally launched in 2023 for PC and Xbox Series S/X, the game arrived alongside a free update called Free Lanes and the paid expansion Terran Armada.
It now appears that Bethesda may have further releases in the pipeline. Previous rumors suggested that Starfield was heading to the Switch 2, though development was reportedly facing significant challenges, with the version even at risk of cancellation. However, a recent development provides a strong indication that something is indeed in the works and that these issues may have been resolved.
The Taiwanese equivalent of PEGI has assigned an age rating to Starfield for the Switch 2. While this is not an official confirmation, it almost invariably signals that the game in question is on its way.
Considering that Bethesda released an update for the Xbox Series S a year after Starfield’s launch, enabling the RPG to run at 60 frames per second, it should be feasible to optimize the Switch 2 version. The Switch 2 is often seen as having performance capabilities comparable to Microsoft’s budget Xbox offerings.
With that in mind, all that’s left is to keep our fingers crossed. Hopefully, we’ll hear more soon. It’s also possible that Microsoft will opt to wait for the Summer Game Fest or the Xbox Games Showcase in early June for an official announcement.
