Charlie Cox Suggests Robert Pattinson for Gustave in Black Myth: Wukong Film Adaptation

Charlie Cox, known for his role as Daredevil, has garnered significant praise for his portrayal of Gustave in the game Black Myth: Wukong. Despite the accolades, Cox has expressed a degree of modesty, stating in interviews that he barely recalls the recording sessions, which he felt were brief and heavily contributed to by others.

More recently, Cox has shown some renewed interest in the title and even begun playing it. However, he appears hesitant to reprise the role of Gustave in any potential film adaptation of the successful French game. In an interview with GamesRadar+, he shared his thoughts on who should take on the part:

“My involvement in this project, as small as it was initially and how it has now grown so much, has been nothing but an incredibly humbling and enjoyable experience. So, yes, absolutely, yes. I was thinking that they should probably – if they do the film – ask Robert Pattinson to play the role, and I should do the voice. Because they would then have pretty much the exact Gustave from the game.”

There are undeniable resemblances between Pattinson and the character. However, one might wonder how well a setup where Cox provided the voice for Pattinson’s performance would have worked. More importantly, do you think Robert ‘The Batman’ Pattinson would have been a fitting choice for the role?
