Diablo IV, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, Nintendo Switch 2

Diablo IV, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, Nintendo Switch 2

Given that Diablo III is already available on the Nintendo Switch, it’s not entirely surprising to learn that Blizzard appears to be working on a Switch 2 version of Diablo IV. While nothing has been officially confirmed, a recent game classification has shed some light on the matter.

The Taiwanese game classification board had previously issued a rating for a Switch 2 edition of the ‘Lord of Hatred’ expansion for Diablo IV. This practically confirms that the full game, and likely ‘Vessel of Hatred’ as well, will soon be arriving on Nintendo’s hybrid console.

As noted by Nintendo Everything, this classification was published in April but was only recently discovered and has since been removed. Nevertheless, the publication managed to capture a screenshot that very clearly shows ‘Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred’ rated for the Switch 2.

Once again, Blizzard has not made any official announcements regarding this. However, with BlizzCon taking place in less than three months, we might get a definitive answer in early autumn.
