The final day of the Euroleague regular season kicks off today, Thursday, April 17th, with Round 38. Several teams are still in contention for the last playoff spots, aiming to extend their European journey.
In the Euroleague, the top six teams automatically qualify for the playoffs, while those ranked 7th to 10th secure a place in the play-ins. The top five positions have already been secured by Olympiacos, Valencia, Real Madrid, Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Fenerbahçe. Meanwhile, Zalgiris, Panathinaikos, and Crvena Zvezda are battling for the final playoff spot. Zalgiris holds the best position; a victory against Paris would guarantee them sixth place.
Panathinaikos will only finish sixth if they defeat Anadolu Efes and both Zalgiris and Monaco lose their respective games. Elsewhere, Barcelona and Dubai are competing for the final play-in position (10th seed). Barcelona has the advantage, and only a defeat against Bayern combined with a Dubai victory over Valencia would eliminate them. Dubai would only secure tenth place if they win and Barcelona loses.
