The NBA season is not over yet for Stephen Curry, the four-time NBA champion with the Golden State Warriors. Despite finishing tenth in the regular season, the team defeated the second-seeded Los Angeles Clippers to advance to the NBA play-in finals next Friday (Saturday European time).

Curry, who remains one of the league’s most popular players based on jersey sales, scored 35 points. The veteran Al Horford, at 39 years old, hit four three-pointers in the final five minutes, contributing to a 27-13 run to close out the game.

In the other play-in game, the Philadelphia 76ers qualified for the playoffs by beating the Orlando Magic 109-97. The Florida team will have another opportunity on Friday when they face the Charlotte Hornets, while the Warriors will go up against the Phoenix Suns for the remaining playoff spot.
