Grand Theft Auto VI: Physical Editions Might Arrive by Year’s End
When Rockstar officially unveiled the pricing and editions for Grand Theft Auto VI, it was made clear that the launch bundle would not include any physical media. This means that if you purchase a physical copy, you will only find a code inside the box. This naturally displeased some individuals, but perhaps this situation will not remain the same in the future.
Polish insider Graczdari, who had previously reported via PPE.pl that there would be no physical discs for the game, has now specified that physical discs for GTA VI will eventually be available, but they are not expected until December at the earliest.
The reason for this decision seems to be Rockstar’s desire to prevent leaks. By providing a code in a box, even if a consumer gets their hands on their copy of Grand Theft Auto VI in advance, it will not work until Rockstar makes it available on November 19th. This also suggests that once the first batch of physical copies of the game is sold out, no more physical copies will be available until the disc editions arrive in December.
Regardless, Rockstar has not yet confirmed either of these points. However, what the developer has officially shared is a ton of images and screenshots of GTA VI, which you can see here.
