Nakwon: Last Paradise is now officially slated for a 2027 release. Previously, the zombie extraction shooter had no firm launch date, leading fans to hope for a sooner debut. However, it has been confirmed that the game will not arrive until 2027.
This confirmation comes as Nexon has recently highlighted its focus on AI advancements and lessons learned from past game launches. The development team for Nakwon also collaborated with Embark Studios, creators of ARC Raiders, to refine the extraction shooter genre experience.
Nexon’s ongoing success with ARC Raiders might be a factor in this decision, allowing Nakwon to secure its own space in the market without immediate competition from another title in the same genre.
Nakwon: Last Paradise promises a distinct and immersive experience. Players will be thrust into a post-apocalyptic South Korea, where they must confront hordes of the undead and other desperate survivors. The core objective involves scavenging for valuable loot and striving to survive another day amidst the crumbling urban ruins.
