Poncle is actively exploring new avenues for growth. This includes themed game versions that build upon the core Vampire Survivors gameplay, such as the recently announced Warhammer Survivors and the Jujutsu Kaisen project. Beyond these variations, other initiatives aim to deepen the Vampire Survivors franchise. These include the roguelike deckbuilder Vampire Crawlers and a new collaboration with the comic publisher Titan Comics.
According to official announcements, Poncle and Titan Comics are joining forces to create a comic series and a graphic novel set within the Vampire Survivors universe. The comic series will consist of four issues, with the first set to launch in September. These issues will later be compiled into a graphic novel slated for release in March 2027.
Regarding the plot, a press release states: “In this new story, familiar survivors venture into cursed realms populated by indescribable creatures, hidden lore, and increasingly strange mysteries, as they begin to uncover secrets that were not meant to be discovered. As they seek answers and battle monsters in an endless library, a corrupted dairy factory, and even a mad forest, a terrible and shocking truth finally begins to unfold…”
The script will be penned by David Hazan, the creator of Nottingham, and the illustrations will be handled by Jimmy Kucaj. This creative duo has previously collaborated on Dread the Halls. The first issue is scheduled for release on September 9th, and its cover art is featured below.
