Alan Ritchson & Owen Wilson Team Up for Action-Packed Delivery Thriller, Runner

CinemaCon is currently underway, a major hub for the influx of film news and updates dominating this week. While Sony has garnered significant attention, other companies are also sharing details about their upcoming projects.

One such announcement comes from distributor Angel, offering an early glimpse of their film, “Runner.” This action-thriller centers on a driver and courier tasked with delivering a transplantable organ to a critically ill young girl. Their urgent mission takes a dangerous turn when local thugs attempt to steal the organ for the black market, igniting a tense and chaotic real-time chase.

Starring Alan Ritchson in the lead role, alongside Owen Wilson, “Runner” is directed by Scott Waugh and is slated for a theatrical release on September 11th. You can find the film’s trailer and synopsis below.
