We are, of course, referring to the extraordinarily well-crafted, innovative, stunningly beautiful, thought-provoking, and highly entertaining game, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which also claimed our own Game of the Year award (and those of virtually everyone else).
This means two games have now made history with this achievement, both hailing from smaller developers and publishers. While a certain Rockstar title is likely in a strong position to sweep many awards this year, competition is fierce, and it remains to be seen if Grand Theft Auto VI will ultimately live up to expectations.
