Team Vitality Achieves Second-Longest Counter-Strike Map Win Streak

Following their recent triumph at the BLAST Open Spring 2026 tournament, Team Vitality continues to assert its dominance in the Counter-Strike 2 era. Their consistent success has now propelled them into the history books, securing the second-best map win streak ever recorded in Counter-Strike.

As of now, the acclaimed organization boasts an impressive 22 consecutive map victories. This remarkable run places them firmly in second place on the all-time leaderboard, trailing only the legendary Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP), who hold the undisputed record.

The path to claiming the top spot, however, presents an immense challenge. NIP’s monumental record stands at an astounding 87 consecutive map wins. For Team Vitality to surpass this, they would need to secure an additional 65 map victories without a single loss. This feat would necessitate flawless performances across numerous upcoming tournaments, potentially requiring them to win five to ten major events perfectly. While incredibly difficult, achieving such an unparalleled streak would undoubtedly solidify Team Vitality’s legacy as the ultimate CS dynasty.

Fans can look forward to watching Team Vitality compete in upcoming major events, including IEM Rio and Atlanta, where they will have the opportunity to pursue a consecutive Intel Grand Slam. The team also has a stop at BLAST Rivals Spring 2026 on their schedule.
