Assetto Corsa Rally Continues Towards 1.0 with Online Multiplayer and Greek Tracks

Supernova Games, Kunos Simulazioni, and 505 Games have rolled out the latest update for their rally simulator, Assetto Corsa Rally, which is currently in early access. Update 0.5 brings new content and a much-anticipated feature that will give the project a significant boost: online multiplayer.

Players can now create private, customizable lobbies supporting up to 16 participants. These lobbies offer options to adjust weather conditions, as well as restrictions for vehicles and spectators. Additionally, a standard event calendar and a premium weekend event will be implemented, running from Friday to Sunday.

The 0.5 update also brings further physics improvements to Assetto Corsa Rally. The internal mechanics have been overhauled, a new tire model has been introduced, and a more stable calculation for load sensitivity, proportional to pressure and contact patch size, has been implemented. Surface recognition has also been redesigned with unique parameter sets and specific terrain modifications, complemented by the addition of longitudinal and lateral drag effects on soft surfaces.

Finally, two new stages have been added to the Greece Rally: Loutraki and Elatia. With all these additions, check out everything this new update has to offer as the game moves closer to its official launch in the trailer below.
