Assassin's Creed Shadows Update 1.1.10 Brings Mouse & Keyboard Support to Nintendo Switch 2
Ubisoft recently announced a reduction in ongoing development support for Assassin's Creed Shadows, allowing its teams to pivot towards future titles in the broader franchise. While this strategic shift is understandable, it means the game received less than a year of dedicated post-launch support before this decision was publicly communicated. Despite this, Ubisoft confirmed that smaller, additional patches would still be released, and we've just seen another example of this commitment.
Update 1.1.10 for Assassin's Creed Shadows was rolled out on April 7th. Although primarily a maintenance update, it introduces several promising and noteworthy new features for players across various platforms.
Most notably, players on the Nintendo Switch 2 can now benefit from mouse and keyboard input, as full support for these peripherals has been integrated into the console version of the game. Simultaneously, PlayStation 5 Pro owners will experience enhanced visual clarity and improved performance, thanks to the incorporation of the new PSSR 2 technology within the game.
Furthermore, the Bo weapon, which was previously exclusive to the "Awaji Claws" expansion, has now been made available to all players. This means you can begin finding this powerful staff weapon throughout your adventures in feudal Japan.
The update also includes a variety of bug fixes and general improvements to address existing issues within the game.
