Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game - Pre-Orders Live, Launches July 2nd
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game now has an official release date. This year appears to be particularly vibrant for fighting games, with several major titles emerging outside of established franchises. Invincible VS is set to launch next month, 2XKO had a promising start to the year despite its player count not entirely satisfying Riot, and Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is gearing up to deliver an unprecedented 4v4 experience in August. Continuing this summer surge of fighting games, Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will be released on July 2nd.
This announcement was confirmed by a new pre-order trailer, showcasing numerous iconic characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra battling in environments drawn from the series' universe. The game promises to be content-rich, featuring 12 playable characters at launch, never-before-seen artwork, over 900 hand-drawn frames per character, online lobbies, arcade and story modes, and much more. All this for a standard edition priced at just $30.
For those opting for the Deluxe Edition at $50, additional bonuses are included: a digital art book, the five characters from the Year 1 Pass, the game's original soundtrack, and exclusive user interfaces (HUDs). Pre-ordering the game grants access to the "Samurai Appa" skin, unique character color palettes, and the ability to participate in voting for future Year 1 Pass characters.
Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will be available on July 2nd across a wide range of platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and even the forthcoming Nintendo Switch 2.
