Coffee Stain Holds Annual Goat Direct, Unveils 'Buck to the Future' Pack and 'What the Car?' Collaboration
Swedish developer Coffee Stain North recently wrapped up its annual April Fool's Day 'Goat Direct' event for 2026. This year's showcase, dedicated entirely to Goat Simulator, delivered a flurry of exciting news and reveals for fans of the chaotic franchise.
The standout announcement is a new 'Buck to the Future' Gear Pack for Goat Simulator 3. Described as a collection from the year 3000, it introduces 'galvanizing goat gear and futuristic fashion to San Angora.' Players can look forward to 22 new gear items, the 'RoboCock' skin, and new ways to manipulate gravity, supersize NPCs, create portals, and generally cause mayhem. The pack is available now across all platforms.
Additionally, Goat Simulator 3 has launched on the Nintendo Switch 2. Owners of the original Nintendo Switch version can upgrade to the Switch 2 edition with a significant 70% discount.
A fresh collaboration with 'What the Car?' was also revealed. This partnership brings the independent title's unique vehicle to Goat Simulator+ on Apple Arcade, while Goat Simulator's iconic protagonist, Pilgor, makes her debut appearance in 'What the Car?'.
Fortnite enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that the 'Goat' skin has returned to the item shop, though it will only be available until April 3rd.
Concluding the event, Santiago Ferrero, Creative Director at Coffee Stain North, hinted that these announcements are merely the tip of the iceberg for what's planned. He humorously stated the developer has a 'baa-rilliant year ahead of us, with even more to reveal – just don't read too much into this ending.' He then added, 'Or do it, if you want. I can't stop you. I'm not your mother! ... Or am I?'
