On the eve of its first anniversary, Sony is releasing a major content update for Ghost of Yotei, which will also be included in a game bundle titled Ghost of Yotei: Complete Edition.
This bundle will be released on October 1st and, in addition to the base game and a pre-order bonus armor set for Atsu from the Sakai clan (Jin's clan in Ghost of Tsushima), will feature two major additions to the game.
First, a story DLC titled Echoes of Sekigahara, a new narrative set in an unexplored region of Ezo. Here, Atsu will confront the remaining soldiers of the Serpent army, the Vipers, while also facing a character from her past on Honshu named Nagato. Simultaneously, flashbacks to the warrior's youth will reveal her role in the Battle of Sekigahara and how she found the strength to return home and exact her revenge.
The second piece of content is a single-player roguelite survival mode called Most Wanted. In this mode, players must survive waves of enemies using only the equipment at their disposal. Different characters can be controlled, each assigned a specific weapon type and, consequently, a combat style. Atsu excels in dual katana combat, Oyuki wields the kusarigama, and Nagato uses the yari, with more familiar characters unlockable.
