Unlocking the Legendary and Powerful Poogie
To obtain the egg of the legendary Great Poogie, you must first complete the "Poogie Search" side quest series. This quest begins with the Expert Farmer in Azuria, whom you can find near the eastern castle entrance. The quest starts early in the game as "Poogie Search 1."

Your mission is to track down a total of 100 Poogies across four different regions: Azuria, Canalta, Tarkuan, and Serathis. The quest series concludes only after you have found all 100 Poogies. This will require considerable time and dedication.
Location of the Special Poogie
After completing the Poogie Search questline, the Farmer will inform you about another special Poogie. Subsequently, a new Egg Den will appear in the Plaguestone Forest.

Head to this mysterious Egg Den to find a black egg with distinctive purple footprints in a nest. Successfully retrieve this egg and hatch it at your camp to add the 101st, mighty Poogie to your Monstie team.
The Unique Characteristics of this Special Poogie
The Great Poogie is not just an ordinary Monstie; it is an exceptionally strong specimen. It possesses four unique and powerful skills that set it apart from other monsters:
- Poogie March: A Kinship skill where the Poogie encourages all previously found Poogies to attack, dealing massive damage.
- Merciless Tackle: The Poogie expends all its stamina, dealing damage to the opponent proportional to the stamina consumed.
- Bold Tackle: This ability reduces the Poogie's HP to 1 and deals damage relative to the lost HP.
- Full Steam Ahead: The Poogie grants allies a strong attack and speed boost but, in return, reduces their defense and evasion.

With its unique skill set, the Great Poogie is one of the strongest monsters in the game when used strategically. Beyond its combat prowess, it can roar and jump, but it lacks practical field abilities such as climbing, digging, or swimming. Nevertheless, it will prove to be an extremely valuable ally in combat.
