Ryanair Hits New Monthly Record with 21.2 Million Passengers
Ryanair, the Irish low-cost carrier, has long held its position as the dominant player in the European budget airline market. The company consistently identifies innovative methods to reduce costs, which directly translates into more affordable airfares for its customers. Despite numerous attempts by other airlines to emulate its successful business model, Ryanair continues its expansion. A recent report from Flygtorget highlights that the airline has now reached another significant milestone.
In the past month, Ryanair carried an impressive 21.2 million passengers, surpassing all other airlines and breaking its previous record set in August 2025. Furthermore, Ryanair demonstrates an extraordinary ability to fill its aircraft, achieving a load factor of 95%.
There are no indications that this success will diminish anytime soon. On the contrary, Ryanair has placed an order for 300 Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft, the sole model the airline utilizes to keep its operational expenses low. It appears highly probable that this new record will be surpassed again in the not-too-distant future.
