Shenmue III Enhanced Unveils Special and Collector's Editions
Last autumn, we reported on the upcoming re-release of Shenmue III as an enhanced edition. This updated version is now confirmed to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series S/X, marking the first time fans on these platforms will have the chance to experience the third installment of Ryo Hazuki's adventure. The game will also be available on PC and PlayStation 5.
Beyond the standard version, ININ Games has announced that both a Special Edition and a Collector's Edition will also be available. Here's a detailed breakdown of what each includes:
Special Edition
- Shenmue 3 game
- Special Edition Box
- "The Making of Shenmue 3 Enhanced" Art Book
- "The Definitive History of Shenmue" Blu-ray
Collector's Edition
- Shenmue 3 game (with alternative box art)
- 15 cm Ryo Hazuki Figurine
- Wooden scroll and keychain
- "The Making of Shenmue 3 Enhanced" Art Book
- "The Definitive History of Shenmue" Blu-ray
- Art Print Set (including a poster, stickers, kung-fu cards, and more)
For those eager to secure their copy, ININ Games has two additional exciting announcements: firstly, pre-orders are officially open (and are expected to sell out quickly, so prompt action is advised!), and secondly, for Switch 2 owners, the game will be delivered on a physical cartridge containing the full game, rather than just a download key.
