The Guild: Europa 1410 Early Access Launch Delayed
Players eagerly awaiting the early access release of Ashborne Games' "The Guild: Europa 1410" will have to wait a little longer. The developer has announced a postponement of the game's early access debut, shifting it from its previously scheduled July 16th date to an unspecified time in September.
This decision was confirmed by Ashborne Games in a Steam blog post. The studio explained, "In light of the feedback we've received on our demo, we've decided to push back the early access release date, originally planned for July 16th, to September of this year. We will use this additional time to refine the game and incorporate community feedback to ensure a smooth early access experience from the start."
This extended development period will be utilized to implement several key changes. These include the addition of a new urban area designed to serve as a tutorial, improvements to the user interface for a more optimized gameplay experience, more detailed animations to showcase worker activities, and expanded language support. Some languages will offer text-only localization, while others will feature full voiceovers.
Ashborne Games also stated, "We understand that the anticipation for our early access launch has generated a lot of excitement and curiosity. But don't worry: while we take the time to make further improvements to the early access version of the game, you'll be able to experience some of these new features in an upcoming update to the demo of The Guild – Europa 1410."
The developer further clarified that this delay will not impact their roadmap for future content and ongoing game support. They promised, "We will still be adding multiplayer mode, more maps and professions, as well as more in-depth mechanics related to economy, politics, and your dynasty in the future. We will explain all of this in more detail in our roadmap before the early access release, so stay tuned!"
Were you planning to test "The Guild: Europa 1410" next week before this delay announcement?
