No News on *Winds of Winter*, But the 2027 *A Song of Ice and Fire* Calendar Looks Truly Amazing

The fate of George R.R. Martin’s next installment in the *A Song of Ice and Fire* saga, *Winds of Winter*, remains uncertain. The author has repeatedly expressed concerns about finishing it, calling it the “great curse of my life” and admitting to struggles with deadlines. A sigh of resignation is understandable.

However, despite the prolonged wait for the book, there are still exciting developments surrounding the *A Song of Ice and Fire* universe, beyond the HBO Max productions. One such event is a new calendar inspired by the vast fantasy world, with the 2027 edition recently unveiled.

This calendar features illustrations by Tyler Jacobson. Each month will showcase an artistic depiction of a pivotal moment in Westerosi history. Some examples have already been shared, including what appears to be the climactic battle between the Mountain and the Viper, the Hound left for dead by Arya Stark, and Cersei Lannister standing before the Iron Throne.

The calendar is scheduled to go on sale starting July 21st for $18. Will you be picking one up?
