Today marks a significant milestone for Overwatch players as Season 2 of 2026 launches, introducing a wealth of anticipated content and the latest hero, Sierra. The season officially kicks off with the weekly reset around 5:00 PM BST/6:00 PM CEST tonight, and the roadmap for Season 2: Summit has now been unveiled.
The centerpiece of this season is, as widely expected, Sierra, whose details we’ve recently explored. Beyond Sierra, players can look forward to several other additions and enhancements. These include a rework of the Antarctic Peninsula map, the integration of post-match accolades, stadium updates (which will introduce Ramattra, the Lijiang Night Market, a rework of Juno, and Jetpack Cat later in the season), a Mythic skin for Soldier: 76, and a Mythic weapon for Genji. Additionally, there are refreshed mini Perks, an early celebration of the 10th anniversary mid-season, a new Battle Pass and Starter Pack, and even a special collaboration with Diablo, bringing a demonic Ramattra skin.
